A Sudden explosion at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram cafe was reported in Whitefield area on Friday, injured many people. Most of the people got injured including staff and customer after an explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe .

As Per the reports , At least four people were injured after an explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru’s Whitefield. The injured included three staff and one customer. 

popular eatery joint the Rameshwaram Cafe , often frequented by celebrities, witnessed a blast on friday, march 1, reports say four people wear injured. According to news agency PTI. The injured have been shifted to a local hospital and are currently receiving treatment, officials said.

Cause Of Explosion

Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on friday confirmed that the Rameshwaram Cafe blast was caused by a low intensity improvised explosive device. The exact cause of the blast has not been determined yet But investigation is going on. He also said those involved will be found and strict action will be taken against them.

“According to the information I have got, after 12 PM someone placed a bag and went. Investigations are going on, Siddaramaiah said, adding that all the injured persons are out of danger. Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, he said, “CCTV and other things are being examined. We have come to know about someone placing a bag. It is said to be an improvised explosive blast. We have to see, the investigations are on.” 

Asked whether it was a terrorist act, the CM said, “It is not known and investigations are on. Police are at the spot and he has asked the Home Minister also to visit the spot. “It was not a large-scale blast, it was an improvised explosive blast. Such things have happened earlier too, it should not happen. Let’s see what it is. In recent times such blasts had not taken place other than the incident in Mangaluru during BJP rule. This is the first such incident during our government,” he added. 

Stating that the incident should not be politicised and everyone should cooperate, Siddaramaiah said strict action would be taken against those involved. Asked if any high-level inquiry will be ordered, he said, “Let the things become clear. As of now we have information that the blast has taken place.”

Karnataka CM himself confirmed that Rameshwaram cafe blast was a low-intensity IED blast.. It was a bloody terrorist attack & it’s because they know Congress won’t do anything against them and someone is there to defend them/whitewash their deeds..

The Whitefield Fire Station spoke to reporters on the issue and said, “We received a call that a cylinder blast occurred in the Rameshwaram cafe. We reached the spot and we are analysing the situation.”

Forensic experts also arrived at the cafe and are reportedly assessing the exact cause for the blast. Further probe is underway and more details are awaited.

The incident sparked sharp reactions from the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya hitting out at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He took to social media and wrote, “Just spoke to Rameshwaram Café founder Sri Nagaraj about the blast in his restaurant. He informed me that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion.”

“One of their employees is injured. It’s seems to be a clear case of bomb blast. Bengaluru demands clear answers from CM @siddaramaiah,” he added.
